SCOPE OF WORK
1. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
The District of Columbia Department of General Services (''DGS" or the Department") will engage a design-build contractor('' on tractor") for the renovation of the existing Hill East Parks located on Potomac Avenue, E, Washington DC. The two (2) parks renovation will generally include: a new splash pad fitness area game table , picnic table . benches, trash receptacles hardscape lighting, signage water drinking fountain, landscaping and ADA upgrades.
The goal of this project is to provide the community a place for the community members and famiIies of all ages to enjoy a place to relax cool off in a splash park, play table games, and share an outside picnic thereby enhancing the overall usability and community interaction within the Hill East Parks community.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SITE
The two (2) Hill East Parks are located on Potomac A venue between K anThe site is bordered to the South by K Street, SE; to the West by 12th Street SE; to the East by I 3th Street, SE; and to the North by r Street, SE. The nearest bus stop is located on Potomac and I Streets, SE, and the nearest Metro Station is Potomac Avenue Station 2 blocks away.
